Queer Cafeteria: Vanilla Making Pop-Up

Big big thanks to everyone who came out to make sweet lil bottles of vanilla (to be ready just in time for all your Valentine’s Day 2023 baking projects 😱) and support our work this past Saturday August 13th, 2022 at @daveslesbianbar Queer Cafeteria at Socrates Park in Astoria, Queens.

Attendees received printed copies of a lil “Afro & Indigenous Legacies” booklet (excerpted from our 1st Edition Core Curriculum) until we ran out, and Deep Routes patreon supporters can access the digital version *with a bonus page on the liquors that go into vanilla extract* today! Join today at www.patreon.com/deeproutes or find the link in our bio.

Thanks to our lovely patrons, supporters, contributors, and collaborators for keeping the project going💚 and big shout out to @daveslesbianbar and the @queerfoodfoundation for including us in this beautiful, fun event and making participating so easy! And big love to all the incredible volunteers.
