An Afro-Indigenous Baking Lab

Flour Play is a Deep Routes baking course that centers Black & Indigenous foodways!

This offering provides hands-on practice of fundamental baking techniques and concepts in tandem with introductory discussions about the plants, bakers, and farmers of African, Asian, and Indigenous diasporas that make modern baking possible. Premiered in Winter 2023 and returning Fall 2024.
