Tomatoes are a part of the cool kids’ table when it comes to plants, with it being in the Solanum/Nightshade family. It's siblings include the likes of eggplants, peppers, potatoes, and tobacco; and despite its susceptibility to diseases, it’s generally a delightful plant to share space with. The fruit they produce can range in taste from candy-like cherries to savory, juice exuding slicers.
