Tomatoes are a part of the cool kids’ table when it comes to plants, with it being in the Solanum/Nightshade family. It's siblings include the likes of eggplants, peppers, potatoes, and tobacco; and despite its susceptibility to diseases, it’s generally a delightful plant to share space with. Their fragrant leaves alert your nostrils if you gently pass them by or water them.

The fruit they produce can range in taste from candy-like cherries to savory, juice exuding slicers.
